Ticketing FAQ’s

Q1. Does Regular and VIP ticket allow entry for all 3 days  ?

A. Yes, an Regular and vip pass will get you access for all 3 days of the festival.

Q2. How and where do I collect my tickets/wristbands?

A. Tickets are to be collected from the Ticket Booth at the Festival venue over the three days of the festival. You will need a valid photo ID proof and a letter authorization, BOTH from the cardholder (if the card used to purchase the ticket is not yours). Wristbands will be given upon handover of the ticket.

Q3. Is there any other verification that I can provide instead of a copy of my debit/credit card?

A. No, only these documents mentioned above, will be used for verification purposes.

Q4. Can I swap a single-day Beach Pass for a 3 Day Beach Pass?

A. Once bought, tickets cannot be swapped.

Q5. Can I upgrade my pass from a 3-Day Beach Pass to a 3-Day VIP pass?

A. Tickets cannot be upgraded.

Q6. Can I buy single day  VIP Tickets during the Regular and vip ticket sales?

A. No, only 3 Day Beach Tickets are available.

Q6. Will I have to be present at the venue when the tickets are being collected?

A. Yes, you will have to be present at the venue when collecting your ticket. The only exception will be made if you have used someone else’s credit card to make the purchase - you will need an authorized letter from the credit card holder (see question 2).

Q7. How old do I have to be to enter Sunburn?

A. You must be of 18 years and above / above the LEGAL Drinking Age (LDA).

Q8. Will I be able to get a refund for the passes if I do not attend the festival?

A. No refund will be provided for tickets unless there is cancellation of the festival.

Q9. Will I need to carry a photo id along for ticket verification purposes?

A. Yes.

Format of the Authorization Letter

I authorize this person “Name” to attend the Sunburn Festival in Goa on my behalf as I have done the booking from my debit/credit card.

Event: Sunburn Festival Goa 2011

Booking ID:

Ticket Description: “Mention the Number of Tickets Bought”(VIP Tickets or 3 day Regular Tickets)

Attach the photocopy of the credit/debit (front+back) with this letter and photocopy of your valid Photo ID.

Also tell the person to carry his/her valid photo ID.

Sunburn ‘Circle o’Gals’ Contest

Sunburn “Circle O’Gals” Contest

Here’s your chance to win an all expense trip to Sunburn with your “Circle O’ Gals” with hotel stay and airport transfers + your ticket2sunburn

Ladies, its time to get Sunburn’T !!

1. Create your own ‘Circle’ with minimum 3 girls & max 5 girls on Google+ and add “#Sunburn” to your circles with a whacky circle name. (ex: Charlies Angels) 

2. Get as many +1’s on your post (after you share it on the Sunburn G+ Page) for a chance to WIN an all expense paid trip (Hotel Stay+ Sunburn Tickets+ Airfare) for you and your gang of gals to Sunburn Goa 2011

3. For extra credits, share the circle with your friends regularly to gather as many +1’s as you can! (share pictures, whacky messages etc.)

Steps to enter the contest:

Before entering the contest make sure you have “+1” the Sunburn G+ Page.

1. Click on “Circle” on your G+ Profile.

2. Drag and drop your girlfriends on “Create Circle” (Minimum 3 and maximum 5)

3. After you add your girlfriends to that “Circle” Click on “Create Circle” a window would open asking you to put a name for the circle. Put up a wacky name for your “Circle”.

4. After you create a circle with your gang of girls click on “Share”.

5. See the screenshot below and type “Sunburn” to share your circle with “Sunburn’s G+ Page”.

6. After sharing the circle, put up a picture of your “Circle o’Gals” (see the photo below for an example) together on the Sunburn G+ Plus.

“LE7EL your Love for SUNBURN AVICII” Contest

Sing, Dance, Shout, Play !! Show how much you love SUNBURN, AVICII and his track “LE7ELS” by posting a video of you or your friends, to the hit soundtrack!! We wanna see what you can come up with!!

One LUCKY WINNER and his/her friend will get to meet the world #6 DJ Avicii in person (backstage)

Steps to enter the contest: 

1. Record your own video version (minimum 30 seconds) to the soundtrack LEVELS by Avicii. Be Creative! It can be covered in various ways (sing, dance, street performance, children’s choir, flash mob or any other innovative way)

2. Upload your video on your YouTube account !

4. E-mail your Name, City, YouTube link and Age to info@sunburn.in to confirm your entry

5. Get as many +1’s or Likes on your video for a chance to win the “LE7EL your Love for Sunburn AVICII” Contest.

6. The winners will be announced before the Avicii India Tour (In Bangalore on 17th)

7. One LUCKY WINNER and his/her friend will get to meet the world #6 DJ Avicii in person (backstage) 

Rules & Regulations:

1. The contest is only valid for Avicii’s Mumbai & Bangalore Tour.

2. The winners will be announced on Google+ and Facebook and also through their email address.The winner would be selected on the basis of creativity and other crazy factors.

3. The announcement is final and will not be subject to appeal.

4. Deadline is 17th December, 2011 at 12pm – No entries would be entertained after 12pm.

5. The video should be made Public on YouTube and clear of all rights to use the video for commercial purposes.

6. The video should not be pornographic nor showing violence, animal abuse, drug abuse etc.

7. The meet and greet is subject to the availability of the DJ and at festival organizers discretion.

8. Please refer to the YouTube terms of use as well.

9. Any entry found in defiance of these terms will not be considered as a valid entry for the contest.

Steps & Rules to enter Canon presents “Capture your Sunburn’T Moment”

How to Enter the Contest

Step 1:  Register yourself on www.sunburn.in; if you already have jump straight to Step 2.

Important: The contest, is in the forums and will be under a separate TOPIC called Canon presents Capture your Sunbunr’T moment, so anyone who is not part of the Sunburn community, get to it & REGISTER NOW!

Step 2:Click on ‘FAN ZONE’ —> ‘FORUM’ link to enter the topic “Canon presents Capture your Sunburn’T Moment”

Step 3: Start a new thread as your entry.

Step 4: Enter your name and location in the ‘title’ (ex: Salmaan Khan, Mumbai) Submit your Sunburn’T moment photo, and write a short ‘CAPTION’ telling us why do you feel “Sunburn’T” in your photograph!

Note: If you guys are having trouble adding an image, click on the Insert Image icon in the thread text box to add your photo.

ONLY ONE (1) PHOTOGRAPH CAN BE SUBMITTED BY A FAN – So get your best photograph out there, and pen down your best words to “capture” the moment!

Step 5: After your Submission, 25 photographs will be on the Canon Sunburn’T moment shortlist album post 10th December.

The Album will be showcased on Facebook and will be up for your votes!

The Sunburn’T moment with the most likes / comments will be chosen as the winner of the contest!

The entry period for the ‘Canon presents Capture your Sunburn’T Moment’ will be from  25th November to 10th December 2011

IMAGE GUIDELINES:

All photographs must follow the guidelines mentioned below in order to be eligible for the contest:

I: The Photograph must be of .jpg, .png, .gif, .jpeg format only.

II: The Photograph must be owned by the entrant and must be original.

III: The Photograph must have been taken by the entrant and must not previously have been published or won any award or have been published previously in any medium

IV: The Photograph must not depict or refer to any brand or trademark other than Sunburn or Canon

V:  The Photograph must not contain any material that is defamatory, threatening, indecent, violent, obscene or offensive, or that promotes a political agenda.

VI: The Photograph must not contain any material that violates or infringes upon the rights of any third party.

VII: The Photograph identifies or depicts any person other than the entrant, the entrant must have prior to submission obtained written consent from such person

VIII:  The Photograph must not contain any material that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, deems inappropriate for public viewing and/or for posting on the Website.  

IX: No photograph can be completely distorted from its originality, drastic modifications made to a photograph will NOT be accepted. No photograph can be modified via PHOTOSHOP.

By submitting a Photograph, the entrant represents and warrants that he or she has complied with all of the foregoing requirements and has obtained all permissions, licenses and consents that are necessary for the submission of the Photograph and the use of the Photograph as permitted.

Each entrant agrees to provide to Sunburn on request, copies of all such permissions, licenses and consents.  Sunburn reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify and/or not to post on the Website any Photograph that Sunburn determines does not comply with these guidelines, to make such changes to any Photograph as are necessary to make it compliant, or to require the entrant to do so.  

COME ON SHUTTERBUGS! WE DON’T WANT TO BE HARSH ON ANYONE! Lets keep it clean and fun!

SELECTION OF WINNERS :

I. 25 photographs will be shortlisted and will be put up for voting on www.faceboook.com/sunburnfestival  

II.The shortlist will be made based on a few simple and logical grounds.

III. Originality, Sunburn’T vibe, and your expression of the moment depicted in your photograph – as they said a picture says a thousand words, but lets keep it short. 

IV.The finalists will be up for public voting – the Sunburn fans will have their say on the photograph that captures A Sunburn’T moment!

V. 3 winners will be chosen at the end of the contest!

THE WINNERS:

I. Only 1 will be lucky to capture their Canon Sunburn’T moment LIVE @ the Sunburn Goa 2011 festival!

II. #2 & #3 we haven’t forgotten you!! Both of you too will win a Canon digital camera, to capture your future Sunburn’T moments!

III. Shortlist to be out on 11th December, 2011

IV.  The winners to be declared a few days after the “Final voting” round.

V. The winner will be announced on Sunburn Festival’s Facebook page, and will also be alerted via an emailer.

MORE RULES & REGULATIONS:

The contest is open only to people over the age of 18 years.

The contest is open for all else, there is no requirement for any purchase of or payment of any kind. A purchase or a payment will NOT increase one’s chances of winning the contest. 

All content submitted will be used by Sunburn for future activities, with due credit given to the owner of the photograph.
